  • This course introduces the origins and historical development of art. Emphasis is placed on the relationship of design principles to various art forms including but not limited to sculpture, painting and architecture.

  • This course introduces the functions of personnel/human resource management within an organization. Topics include equal opportunity and the legal environment, recruitment and selection, performance appraisal, employee development, compensation planning, and employee relations. Upon completion, students should be able to anticipate and resolve human resource concerns.

  • This course explores the growing market for travel and Outdoor photography. Emphasis is placed on photography in foreign and local environments, including travel arrangements and restrictions, protection of cameras, accessories, and filters, identification of markets for travel photography.

    Upon completions students should be able to photograph people in many cultural situations, photograph indoor and outdoor environments, and identify what makes great travel photography.
  • This course introduces western civilization from the early modern era to the present. Topics include the religious wars, the Industrial Revolution, World Wars I and II, and the Cold War. I have designed this course for students in hopes they will find the history of western civilization via the internet accessible, engaging, and informative. I look forward to working with you this semester as we explore the history of western civilization together.
  • COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course provides an overview of imaging concepts and introduces methods of quality assurance. Topics include a systematic approach for image evaluation and analysis of imaging service and quality assurance. Upon completion, students should be able to establish and administer a quality assurance program and conduct a critical review of images.
  • This course introduces the scientific study of human society, culture, and social interactions. Topics include socialization, research methods, diversity and inequality, cooperation and conflict, social change, social institutions, and organizations. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate knowledge of sociological concepts as they apply to the interplay among individuals, groups, and societies. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement general education core requirement in social/behavioral sciences.

Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an historical understanding of art as a product reflective of human social development. This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement general education core requirement in humanities/fine arts.
  • This course covers the development of art forms from Ancient times to the Renaissance. Emphasis is placed on content, terminology, design and style. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an historical understanding of art as a product reflective of human social development.

    This course has been approved to satisfy the Comprehensive Articulation agreement general education core requirement in humanities/fine arts.
